My name is Chief Ronald Sellon and I am running for 4th Vice President of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) in 2025 in Denver, CO.
Current IACP Board Member
I was elected to the IACP Executive Board in 2020 and have served as the Vice President Treasurer since then, and prior to being elected into that seat, I served on IACP’s Human and Civil Rights Committee. My years of experience with IACP and its board have helped prepare me to take on an even larger role in this organization.
Graduate of FBINA
I had the honor of attending the FBI National Academy with session 245. As anyone who has attended this incredible learning experience knows, it’s as much about the learning you get there as it is a means to network and become lifelong friends with other leaders in policing in the US.
Member of The Curve
The Curve is a diverse group of forward-thinking chiefs and sheriffs committed to reform modern policing from the inside-out. Their purpose is to build a profession dedicated to protecting the vulnerable from harm while advancing a vision of a world in which all people feel justice is administered with dignity, equity, and fairness.
Board Member Law Enforcement Torch Run Executive Council
I am one of the IACP Appointees to the LETR Executive Council whose goal is to: further the mission and purpose of the Law Enforcement Torch Run and set the goals and objectives for the Council that are reviewed and updated annually.
I humbly request your vote in Denver 2025.
We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths
